Fun facts about kindness

Kindness is like all other skills, the more we do it the easier it is to respond with compassion.

Observing kindness prompts spectators into kindness and makes them feel happier in the process.

Kindness increases oxytocin (which helps lower blood pressure and reduces heart disease).

Doing a good deed makes people feel happier than being the recipient.

It stimulates seratonin production (an antidepressant and the happiness, calm down hormone).

Kindness results in less cortisol production. This is the stress hormone associated with many adverse health consequences.

There are many other benefits of being kind. What if we made today about being kind to everyone you meet.
